Özlem Tunçel, graduated from Boğaziçi University with Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Relations, and started her MA in the same year. She also spent a semester in Utrecht Universiteit in the Netherlands during her undergraduate education as an Erasmus student. She had been actively participating Center for European Studies Student Forum during her BA. Alongside, she worked as a research assistant in several research of Summer Research Program in her department. Her research interests include Turkish politics, education, religion, and religious communities.
Kamile Sena İncedere graduated from Bogazici University Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2013. She is currently writing her thesis which covers the politicization of the football fandom in Turkey. Her main research interests include anthropology of the state, political anthropology, feminist politics, politics of football, music and politics. She was also the Assistant Coordinator of Executive MA Program in International Relations: Turkey, Europe and the Middle East at Bogazici University. Following her internship experiences at prominent institutions such as International Labour Organization (ILO) of the United Nations, Bogazici University, Heidrick & Struggles, TEPAV and IKV, she started to work as the Prosperity Fund Support Officer at Projects Department of the British Embassy Ankara.
Ebrar Şahika Küçükaşcı, graduated from the Political Science and International Relations Department at Boğaziçi University in 2016 and started her MA in the same year. She spent a semester in 2015 at Dublin City University (DCU) as an Erasmus student. She has been active participant in various NGOs and societies as organizing conferences and workshops. She has also worked as research assistant in Boğaziçi University during her BA. In 2016, she was granted scholarship of Qatar University, and has continued her academic activities in Qatar University for eight months. Her research interests include Middle Eastern Studies, Turkish politics and environmental politics.
Ufuk Türkkan graduated from Bogazici University Department of Political Science and International Relations and Department of Sociology as a double major student in 2013. He attained Complutense University of Madrid for the fall semester in 2011-2012 school year with Erasmus student exchange program. In addition to this, he participated in several European Union youth projects. He started his M.A. in Political Science and International Relations at Bogazici University in 2013. His research areas are international relations, Turkish foreign policy, and security studies.
Ayşe Karasaç graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Department of International Relations in 2014.
Her research interests are Olympics, politics of the Russian Federation and Eurasia.
Rabia Kutlu, graduated from Political Science and International Relations Department at Boğaziçi University in 2016. She has also completed her minor program in Economics Department at Boğaziçi University in the same year. She has spent a semester at Utrecht University in the Netherlands during her undergraduate education as an Erasmus student. She has been an active participant and volunteer in various NGOs and societies and participated many projects with the funds granted from different organizations during her BA. Her research interests include Political Economy, Poverty, Migration, and Citizenship.
Muhterem Özdinçer was graduated from Boğaziçi University with a Bachelor of Science degree, with the second highest degree in Political Science and International Relations and a minor degree in Economics. She started her MA in the same year. She worked as a research assistant in several Summer Research Program in her department and as a student assistant in several courses given by her department. Alongside, She has several internship experiences at public (Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the private sector. Her research interests include Turkish foreign policy, Political economy of construction projects, urban studies and immigration and refugee studies.
Sarp Sarsar graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Political Science and International Relations and started his MA in the same year. He previously attended to several European Youth Parliament conferences as delegate in the committee Works. His research interests include comparative political systems, international conflict/cooperation, and Turkish foreign policy.
Dilek Gürsel graduated from European Studies with a minor in Law from the University of Osnabrück in Germany. After having spent two semesters at Sciences Po Paris, she started focussing on the Middle East. Several internships followed (Goethe Institute Tel Aviv, EU Delegation to Turkey) before she started her MA in International Development at Sciences Po Paris. Currently, she is pursuing an exchange semester at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations in Bogazici University and writing her thesis on the change of the situation of Kurdish Women's organisations in Turkey in recent years. She will also pursue a part-time internship with the Istanbul Policy Center of Sabanci University. Her interest fields include the Middle East, Turkish foreign policy, dynamics in the Middle East, ethnicity and nationalism, and the developments inside the European Union as well as particularly German domestic politics.
